Workshop on Pressure Equipment
This is to be chaired by Prof Stuart Cameron of Doosan Babcock Energy, who will give the opening address, and there will be other presentations.


Workshop for Regulators
Prof. Stuart Cameron is being invited to speak on regulation under PED and ASME, including control of NDT. ICNDT nominees to assist are Dr Mike Farley, Chairman of ICNDT, Dr Purschke and John Thompson. and there are likely to be other speakers.


ICNDT Workshop for Qualification and Certification of NDT personnel
The Chairman of ICNDT WGI, John Thompson, has been invited to organize this, and it will occupy a half-day slot during the conference.

ICNDT Workshop for new/fledgling NDT Societies
The Chairman of the ICNDT Membership Committee (Joao Conte) and the secretary to the Executive Committee (David Gilbert) will organize this in conjunction with Jim Guild and Bakowa Moussa, as President and Vice President of AFNDT. There are likely to be new Members from outside Africa as well as inside. This should have a duration of about two hours.


ICNDT Research Workshop
This will open with short presentations by a number of leading researchers on their institutes and vision, and then continue with an open ended session of questions and answers. This will immediately be followed by networking opportunities and perhaps a poster session. It is anticipated that the Workshop will be chaired by Dr Baldev Raj, past Chairman of ICNDT.
ICNDT PGP members are being asked to nominate research leaders for this Workshop.

 

Academia NDT International Symposium
This will be a half day session of invited lectures on the theme "Science, Technology and Diagnostics in NDT", which will be open free of charge to the public.
