An introductory tour of Durban, which has been shaped by the early Colonial settlers, the Zulus and the Indians who arrived as indentured laborers in the 19th Century – this is truly a city of contrasts.

  • Drive along and view the ‘Golden Mile’ (Beachfront area) viewing City Hall.
  • Visit the Kwa Muhle Museum
  • Stop at Durban’s Botanic Gardens, founded in 1849 and home to a fine mix of African, Asian and American Trees.
  • Discover the rich Indian history of Durban and experience the first taste of the unique “Bunny Chow” cuisine.
  • Tour concludes with a visit to the Moses Mabhida stadium – optional cable car ride to the top of stadium (for own account) to view Durban and surrounds
